Biz Center Art, the gallery, in residence at the La Mesa Biz Center, presents Nowhere, a small image show featuring works of art no larger than 12” x 14” and costing no more than $100. The opening reception for Nowhere is Saturday, June 23rd from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. at the Biz Center Art gallery, 7317 El Cajon Boulevard, La Mesa, CA 91942. The
reception will feature the artists and their art; live music by local

Biz Center Art has also received exclusive rights to show art from thePeggy & Dick Handlery Collection.
Peggy and Cick Handlery, who owned the Handlery Gallery in Old Town for over fifty years, have agreed to let Biz Center Art show pieces from their personal collection at the Biz Center Gallery. The pieces, images, drawings and celluloid prints of scenes from many magical MGM movies, will be shown in a special area of the Biz Center Gallery by special arrangement with hte Handlery family. Much as they would like to hang onto these classic pieces of cinematic history, Peggy and Dick are ready to let them go to worthy homes. Because most of the images fit within the confines of the Nowhere show (small, valuable but not too expensive), gallery Director has elected to show them alongside the Nowhere art. These one-of-a-kind images will be on display -- and for sale -- for a limited time so come see movie history!

“Nowhere provides an excellent opportunity for new collectors to
start their collections,” said Biz Center Art director Midge Hyde. “Of course it’s also a great opportunity for collectors
to add small images to their collections.
You just can’t beat a $100 piece of art, I mean, that’s less than dinner
and a movie and it lasts so much longer.”
Biz
Center Art shows the work
of local artists in bi-monthly juried exhibitions. Artists submit their art, at the gallery, to
a jury of artists and art specialists.
Art chosen for each show is hung for two months and seen, appreciated,
and often purchased, by people who work at the Biz Center
or come there for meetings and events.
Opening receptions kick off each art show.
For more information, artists, art lovers or curious souls,

the La Mesa BizCenter welcome art seekers during business hours, during evening
art openings, and by appointment.
