Looking for a few good artists
Biz Center Art is getting ready to collect art for its last jurried art show of the season. Our October show, "Practicing the Present" is a look at where we are based on where we've been and where we're going. If you have art that speaks to your present -- as a human, a member of a community or family, and as an artist then you have something we want for our next show!
Here are the details:
The show will run from October 20 through the end of December. We are accepting art at the gallery, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. on two days: October 8th and 9th. The fee is $5 per art piece with a limit of five. The opening art reception is 6:30 p.m. Oct. 20th.
For more information, contact Gallery Manager Midge Hyde at midgehyde@gmail.com, or by calling 619-466-3711.

People's Choice Winner
Congratulations to Robert Gullan, who won the People's Choice Award at our recent "Inside Out" opening. Here's some information about Robert from his website...
"With undergraduate work in Physics and a postgraduate degree in Visual Arts, multidisciplinary interests define Mr. Gullen’s activities in both engineering and art. At first, he studied awareness and the nature-of-reality from the perspective of a physicist. In later years this evolved into depicting the world from the vantage point of an artist."
